All of our beginnings with God start with light. We are in darkness until we come to his marvelous light.

John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

That light is incremental too as we walk listen to His word, obey His instructions, and seek for His truths.

He will surely lead us in the paths of righteousness and a life filled with eternal purpose and destiny as we follow Him. We may have to go through dark valleys and travail of the soul, but this too has its benefits. We grow closer to God in those hours, we are released from bondages of this world and we grow stronger in faith as we realize how He carried us through.

Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

What does this world really have to offer that can be compared to the fellowship and amazing love that Jesus offers. It’s a gift for all to receive. If you haven’t already started at the beginning –  to follow Him, what are you waiting for?

He is waiting for you…and will embrace you with open arms, no matter what your situation or your past. Give Him your future, give Him your past, give Him your all. He will restore your soul.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
